These techniques are built on a foundation of five strikes: the over hew, the middle hew, the under hew, the stabbing strike, and the slice. From there, the fighter learns the five master-hews: the wrath-hew, the crooked-hew, the thwart-hew, the squinting-hew, and the part-hew. This foundation is said to lay the groundwork of all the fighter's offensive prowess. With this skill, the fighter returns to the fundamentals, delivering a textbook hew with any weapon, wounding if not killing the foe. If employed following a successful pinion or hilt strike, the fighter will be able to strike the muscles or motive clusters of the opponent, temporarily sapping their physical strength. Skill Usage
