Description:
Alternatively known by such esoteric names as 'murder strike' (mordhau) or 'the thunderclap' (donnerschlag), this hilt strike technique can surprise and incapacitate a foe. While far less damaging than a blow from the business end of the weapon, a well-placed blow with the hilt or pommel can stun for a prolonged period, leaving the fighter's other skills free to do their deadly work. This skill will deal additional damage if the fighter has just pinioned or grappled the target.
